Since 2003, he has been one half of the Sayer Hamilton voice studio, in partnership with his wife, Elinor Hamilton. Previously he was a newsreader on BBC North West Tonight and a presenter on several radio stations, including Piccadilly Radio, Red Rose Radio, BBC GMR (now BBC Radio Manchester) and Smooth FM.
